So, now I keep receiving emails and letters from all the firms that rejected me asking me for demographic info for federal reporting purposes. Sure, I already spent plenty of money and time on putting together my application package for your firm, what's another five minutes of my life that WON'T result in a job?
Reminds of a request our law school received last fall. One of the firms in our area wanted student volunteers to come in and let the firm's new hires interview them. They requested third-year law students. These would have been the students that applied to the firm and were rejected, like me! I laughed when I received the request, and immediately deleted the email.
